H.O.E.- Heroes Of Earth

A Priest, A Rabbi And A Martian Walk Into A Bar....

So the story starts with a brain surgeon named Carl Hampton (Dr. Silence). Who can't talk but can read the minds of others and has the power of telekinesis residing from Hollywood, California; and a nuclear power plant engineer from Lincoln, Nebraska named  Jordan Smith (Kinesis). A Harley motorcycle riding biker who also has the powers of telekinesis. Next we have an ATV riding peyote smoking Indian, Rex Asambro (Badass Mofuga). Who is yet another gifted person who also has the power of telekinesis from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lastly, an fifteen year old boy; named Regalo (Gravidad) who had time travelled from the past and teleported from 17th century Barcelona, Spain to the present day United States. This is the Motley Crew.

Brought together by an unknown benefactor. A benefactor that says he knows who the heroes are and what they are capable of. Furthermore saying that there are lives are at stake; and that the heroes are here to save those lives. With world events going afoul. Many of the world leaders are being discovered to be robots. The world is in chaos with riots and protests going on throughout the United States and the world. The group is mysteriously given one way plane tickets to travel to the city of Chicago, Illinois. There they joined together to hopefully stop some of the chaotic events that are starting to happen or prevent from happening in the United States and through out the world.

Once in Chicago, the group meet at a bar named Jake's Good Time. There the heroes begin to introduce themselves to each other; when a taped phone is found ringing underneath the booth table they are sitting at. The person on the phone is no other than the group's unknown benefactor. He tells them that he has big things planned for the heroes but needs to test their skills. This is when the TV's start changing the channels on their own. There is a bank robbery in progress. An armored vehicle of some kind is in front of the First National Bank Of Chicago. Inside are armed assailants with hostages.

Leaving the bar, Kinesis jumps on his Harley motorcycle and takes Badass Mofuga with him. They take off. Dr. Silence hails a cab via mental telepathy. Both him and Gravidad get into a cab driven by a middle eastern cab driver as they desperately try to keep up with Kinesis's Harley. The whole group begin to travel to the bank stopping at a police barricade blocking the street half a block away from the bank. Kinesis and Badass Mofuga get there first. Where they begin to argue with Police Sergeant William O'Riley as well as get into an altercation with the Chicago P.D. The police officers surrounding Kinesis and Badass Mofuga begin to shoot rubber bullets at the two heroes. But not before Kinesis mentally moved the bank robbers armored vehicle toward himself and the police barricade. Dr. Silence and Gravidad both witness this from inside the cab.

Then the armored car is remotely turned on. It smashes into one of the police cars and drives driverless in front of the bank. Where our bank robbers exit the bank and into the armored car. They are hooligans armed with tommy guns and are dressed in beige nickers of Old England with brown bowler hats on their heads and black military boots on their feet. One who looks to be their leader holds a wooden cane with a brass handle. He taps his cane to his hat as he enters the armored vehicle. Flames shoot out the exhaust as the rumbling vehicle drives off away from our heroes headed toward another barracade on the other end of the street. Smashing the barracade as police begin firing at the armored car. Police cars give chase as well as a police helicopter. But not for long. A missile from a portable missile launcher slams into the helicopter sending it down in flames. Jordan manages to use his telekinesis to send the helicopter down slowly to prevent even further carnage.

Deciding to go back to Jake's Good Time. The heroes find out the bar has been shut down. But not just shut down but closed for years. Dust, cobwebs and a old newspaper proves this. Breaking in the bar just confirms the group's conclusion. The place is abandoned. More dust and cobwebs throughout with only a few remnants of what this bar used to be. A lone TV does give the heroes a clue. The TV like before begins to randomly change channels on their own. This time on the Chicago Museum Of Contemporary Arts. Where there is a charity gala for the famous Hope Diamond. A diamond owned by kings and aristocrats worth millions.

Using some ingenuity half the heroes find a way inside the charity party even though the group had curiously already been on the waiting list. Inside the museum gala the party takes a wild turn. A giant cake is rolled onto the floor after dinner but before the Hope Diamond is presented to the paying crowd. Exploding out the top of the cake is again the hooligan ring leader this time with a tommy gun himself. He shoots into the sky to the crowd's horror. His henchman posing as food servers pull out tommy guns themselves and put on brown bowler hats out from under food carts. Keeping the crowd, the security guards and the heroes at bay. The hooligans get the Hope Damond from behind a big blue curtain and then the lights go out as the hooligans try to escape. When the lights turn back on moments later. The thieves are gone but Gravidad notices cake tracks leading up the main stairwell to the top floor.

Meeting the hooligans on the top floor. Our heroes confront the thieves and a fight ensues for the rare diamond. Using telekinesis, both Dr. Silence and Kinesis subdue the hooligan leader and the henchmen with Badass Mofuga and Gravidad as back up. Our heroes claim victory retrieving the Hope Diamond and defeating the hooligans. After, the Chicago police department show up to arrest the hooligans and take the Hope Diamond as evidence. Police Sergeant O'Riley from earlier thanks the heroes this time realizing that they could be a valuable ally against crime in the future.
